High-Efficiency Disperser/Mixer and advanced Mixing Technology
The Wisperser WP-02 combines a high-speed impeller disc with a ‘mass mover’ blade featuring side and bottom scrapers. This ensures efficient mixing in a fully enclosed system, handling everything from water-based paints to high-viscosity pastes. An asymmetric bottom discharge enables faster emptying, and a frequency inverter is standard for the dissolver unit.

Description
Wisperser type WP-03 is Westerlins’ trade name for a series of highly efficient dispersers/mixers fitted with a minimum of two mixing devices. One is a high-speed impeller disc, and the other is a ‘mass mover’ type blade incorporating a side and bottom scraper. The mixing process occurs in an entirely closed environment.
The Wisperser is designed to suit all dispersing requirements, from simple water-based paint to thixotropic paste-like products. All Wispersers have in common a bottom discharge hole, which is asymmetric in order to achieve faster discharge. Wispersers are manufactured with a frequency inverter as standard for the dissolver unit.
Adaptable to your needs
The Wisperser can be tailored to meet the customer’s production philosophy, whether it concerns charge sizes, local conditions, power requirements, or handling corrosive products. The Wisperser can be equipped with an automatic power control (WPC), which manages both impeller speed and level in accordance with production requirements. The control panel can also be fitted with additional instrumentation beyond our standard fittings.
High viscosity dissolver – wisperser 1.0 to 20.0 m³
Dispersion using a dissolver is possible only with free-flowing substances, as this allows the mass to be set into rolling, turbulence-free movement—commonly known as the “doughnut effect.”
However, this effect isn’t fully achievable with highly viscous, non-free-flowing substances. In such cases, the substance remains almost immobile in the vessel during dispersion, and the dissolver disc cannot apply additional energy, causing it to effectively run free.

The Wisperser type WP-03 achieves exceptional mixing and dispersion performance through the ingenious combination of three independent parameters:
Radial Scraper System: Ensures complete movement of the product mass, guaranteeing a homogeneous product with no dead areas. The scrapers are movable and spring-loaded, ensuring optimal performance.
Disperser Unit: Mounted off-centre with infinitely adjustable speed, this unit provides an intensive dispersion process. The dissolver disc can be adjusted to any speed during operation.
Incorporator Spiral Mixer: Also mounted off-centre, this unit feeds the product from top to bottom in the area of the dissolver disc.
